Breaking the cycle of intergenerational violence to assure the safety and well-being of our most vulnerable children, by supporting mothers, and engaging fathers to promote safe and responsible parenting.

Family and domestic violence grows out of gender inequality, beliefs and behaviors that disrespect women, and holding on to stereotypical gender roles and identities. These situations can lead to one person feeling that they have the right to control their partner's actions.

Helping fathers build healthier and stronger relationships with their children.

Stronger Families offers dedicated world’s best practice group intervention programs to fathers in Perth, Peel and the South West who have a problematic relationship with their children or their children's mothers.  The Caring Dads program helps fathers nurture and respond sensitively to their children to foster their development and form strong and healthy relationships.

The Caring Dads programme.

Stronger Families is proud to offer the Caring Dads programme. Caring Dads is a 17 week evidence based group intervention. It was designed around the premise that violence against women and violence against children are strongly linked, and that these two issues both can, and should be addressed together. Caring Dads start with the focus on how violence in the home affects children and on raising men’s awareness about how disrespect towards the mother is also a form of violence against children.
